I felt like listening to some older sets that I had which first got me into electronic dance roughly 4-5 years ago... and I came across Paul Oakenfold - Essential Mix Live @ Creamfields, Liverpool. (Paul Oakenfold Broadcasted on Sunday 27th August, 2000). God damn that was such a great mix. It was the first set I heard, and it was the set that got me hooked onto this music. It's the only thing I listen to now. Anybody else have that mix?

Thank god those were recorded. THe live in China was my first mix, and still amazing.

My first time seeing Oakenfold was in 2000 and hes has never lost any of my respect since then.

Yeah exactly, it sounds so much different compared to now. I haven't been into EDM long enough like some chaps here, but after listening to those I can now tell the difference between then and now.

i love the lotherton hall and winchester sets, but they're all great.

I think his set @ Creamfields in 1999 was
one of if not THE best sets EVER.
