This week at work was hell for me and I was so burnt out that I wanted to cral into bed and sleep.
I am so glad that I put on Lucky outfit # 3 on and went out.

I got to Heaven super early to help set up if they needed. The hollywood men show ended late again so the night got off too a late start.

Jockton was the first Dj on the becks. He threw down some crazy beats. Some of the beats where a little too wired for me but none the less it was a pretty good set.

Nicholas was on next and played a more trancier set then Jockton. The dance floor was starting to fill up more and Nicholas kept people there. Nic's set last night was better then his last imo. There where a lot of amazing tunes that I had no idea what they where. I also found the sweet spot for sound ( planing my NYE spot all ready

When Nic was on the decks Mike Kogiln walks in with Crystil and Sarah. He stops to talk to every one and gets gets pictures before he goes on the decks.Once he gets on the decks it is all over!
OMG! I said it once all ready but I will say it again. Mike Kogiln is the best headliner that Heaven has had since their return to Arena! He threw down newer tracks(Nik Harding- Red Jewl.. I think,, but deff a Harding track) and mixed them so nicly with the classics like gamemater.
He did however play S.O.S (SVD rmix) ICK GAG ICK! SRSLY this track needs to die and never be played again! ICK. But he redeamed himself so nicly and was soon forgivin.
Mike mixing was so clean and he was really into what he was doing. Each Track kept getting better and better. I could not stop dancing. AMAZING!!!
At 2:30 I had to leave but I did hear Dark side of the Moon while eating my arena dog hehe

It was Great seeing Kris, Sebby, Mike, Sarha, Robbert (fadddded) Fei-Fei, Bob, Julie, Crystal, Riia, D' Morse, and the other TA's presnet.
For those who where not there but saw Mike Koglin at the Love Parade reallllllllyyy missed out. This set was better!

I had a pretty good time for the most part. Great to see Michelle and Kris and nice to meet the other TA's as well.

Mike Koglin threw out a nice set but he wasn't unique with his track selections. If I was blindfolded and didn't know who was spinning beforehand, I probably would have guessed that it was a different DJ out there.

That's what pretty much seperates good dj's and great DJ's. Style matters, and that's one of the hardest things to do in trance. Mike Koglin is a really good DJ, but when you compare him to other great DJ's, he lacks style. He started off great and then he played a bunch of well known tracks.

Maybe that's what the majority of the crowd wanted, but not me (probably because I was sober) and I'm pretty sure a handful of other out there felt the same way. All in all, he played a pretty good set and I had a pretty decent night. Maybe that's what Fridays are all about, so that Saturday can come in and kick some ....

Well as some of you may know ...Im a bit burnt out..so my fun level is just minimal.....I did enjoy the TA company.. the music was ok.. Jokten was my favorite.. I could have killed someone when S.O.S came on..I even ran outside..but I could not escape it ( Mike Koglin did that)
Hopefully tonight at Spundae will make up for it!

OK, I'll pass the word to the back room DJs: No S.O.S. (or Larry Mountains 54, for that matter) allowed or they're outta there
