ok so i recently upgraded to ableton 5. problem is that none of my free vsts are showing up. i have my custom plugin folder set to the location of the plug-ins, ive rescaned it more than a few times. i also noticed that none of the files have the .vst extension. i tried renaming the files with the .vst extension and they still arent showing up.

any thoughts?

btw, im running live 5 on OSX 10.4.3

ill give it a try, but my minimoogV has a vst extension

*edit* nope, that wasnt it.

i've found my manual very helpful in ableton. i'd try that first as i'm not very helpful w/ OSX

yeah i read all the topics on VSTs and couldnt find any help. i know that for my minimoog plugin i had to run an installer, but i dont have an installer for any of my downloaded vsts.
