Went to NYC for the weekend and ended up hitting Avalon on a saturday night. Little did I know that Blank & Jones were spinning in the trance room.

The set was completely freakin' crazy! Especially towards the end of the set. I first didn't know who was spinning until the end, when they were handing out autographs on a paper advertising their latest cd release.

I was wondering if anyone had the playlist of this set or even a link to download the set. Whichever would be fine

P.S. A little note... Clubs in Toronto are 100 times better then any club in NYC. We take our district for granted.

That's because you're comparing them to Avalon, the worst megaclub in NYC. Talk to the Toronto TAs that have been to the other ones. They're not all that bad.

Yeah... I guess, but still. Toronto has a dedicated district to just clubbing. The thing that pissed me off the most is that almost no one in NYC knew were anything was.

Still, Blank & Jones was amazing

The better clubs are in Chelsea, particularly 10th Ave, 27th & 28th Streets. Also, Pacha is opening tonight and it's more in Hell's Kitchen/Times Square (46th and 11th Ave.)

lol... you know what I find retarted, how on Sundays... it's like all the clubs turn queer... LITERALLY! wtf is that all about? I mean, I got no problems with queer people going to clubs, but still... every club that we tried to hit c'mon!

Cielo on Little W. 12th St. is good on Sundays sometimes, but yeah, you're right.

Avalon's gay night is Sunday, not sure about the others (Spirit, Crobar). I really don't keep up in the gay scene myself, but I understand why some of the megaclubs would go that direction. They need the special event to draw in people on work nights. BTW, which other ones did you try to hit up??

What'd I'd like to know is why I didn't know Blank and Jones were in NY....

We only hit up Avalon on Saturday, since it was a $30US cover charge (that's just insane), we decided to just stick to that one. Like I said, Sunday we tried... but yeah... All in all it was alright, thank god Blank & Jones was there.

Also, would anyone know if a link was posted somewhere with the playlist of that set or even an mp3 of it. Let me know.
