A smOOth mixx.

wuddup peeps i made a new mix i thought id share, it isnt hard trance or really chill stuff, i would have to say it is in between. I dont know what kinda trance this is called but you can basically listen to it while u relax, or u can even dance to it if u want. Ive done it at 192 kbps, and is about 77 minutes long.

if my personality had theme music, this would be it.....and if i was stuck on an island with flying bats and huge manta rays, and i was given one type of music to listen to, this type would be IT. (just thought id share that with you guys).

Anyway the tracklist and link is below, enjoy.

And ofcourse any type of feedback is always welcome.

Tracklist:

Taz - Equanimity

1 Kosmas Epsilon - Innocent Thoughts
2 Pryda - The Gift
3 Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets (Seamus Haji & Paul Emmanuel Remix)
4 George Hales - Autumn Falls (Markus Shulz vs. Alucard Remix)
5 Mike Foyle vs. Signalrunners - Love Theme Dusk (Mike's Broken Record Mix)
6 Armin Van Buuren Feat. Gabriel & Dresden - Zocalo (Original Mix)
7 Niklas Harding Presents Arcane - Blue Circles (Original Mix)
8 Jonas Steur - Silent Waves
9 Carrie Skipper - Time Goes By (Super8 Deep Mix)
10 Jose Zamora and Damian DP feat. Paleday - Transatlantic (Andy Moor Remix)
11 Sasha - Requiem

good set man and nice tracks. these are my kind of tracks as well.

mixing could use a little tightening. just a bend of the pitch here and there would be good. also one thing i think you should try is mixing in the tracks sooner. try and feel the cueing track and push it in when ever you want to, but sooner then you do here. this will require you to do more with the levels and will cause you to choose tracks more carefully. you will learn to choose tracks that actually compliment each other and hopefully progress your mix. the goal is to progress the listener through a journey. you do that pretty well here but i think you could do better. im guessing that you are somewhat of a beginer; you have very good tastes (love innocent thoughts, tune of the year imo) but you should keep working on your mixing and keep putting out mixes.

great choice for intro by the way! thanks for the mix.

edit: great outro as well!

thanks for the advice, yeah u guessed right, this is my third time mixing..so i am an amateur and just starting to mix. I know i didnt mess with the pitch correctly at some points, sometimes i get tired and lazy and avoid perfecting it. However im still new to the trance scene so theres a lot more room to learn hopefully.

I also just downloaded ur set...ive listened to a bit of the 1st cd so far, and it sounds wicked and the mixing is great as well, thanks for sharing ur mixes.

anyway, i appreciate you taking the time to listen to the mix and giving me pointers, its always beneficial.

Also, i think the second link is also expired, so if anyone wants to download it..give me a shout.
