Review: Dec 17 Oliver Vs. Oliver "The Gift"

Spent most of the time @ the drink where addy was destroying the place..
At guv saw mark oliver dropping basement jaxx - redalert (mark oliver vocal mix) <--well bullshit of course but i saw him singing to it on the microphone adding special echo voices lol that was pretty cool (dont remember the actual trackname, i think it was basement jaxx but not sure it was dropped at 12:30 if someone wants to correct me), also heard atb-9pm and went back to the drink, then met swamper and chinamon which made my night lol, anyways a great night :P

my two cents...

arrived around 1 o'clock, guv had an amazing vibe ... people were going crazy everywhere .. MO was rocking like always, dropped some ol' classic chunes in there that made me very happy ( don't ask me names cause i don't know :-) ) Props to Mark Oliver .. he always deliver.

i was dancing at from and center, guess TOTAS where all around, i recognized a face or two in there .. unfortunately didn't stayed for too long , u know .. when sex calls :-)

have to say something tho. since i suscribed to this forumm, all the parties have been amazing for me.. (maybe the feeling that you belong somewhere, that there is people like me, who knows). thanks people of tota nation for being so f*cking kool....

whoot whoot!!!!! i'm very pumped for the next one.

c'mon c'mon dance with me!!!!

ok, like seriously who needs international djs with sets like that

WoW! that was nuts, so much fun some tracks:

punk (knew it would be played)
sandstorm (haha jokes)
zombie nation (more jokes )
meet her at the love perade
airwave (sweet!)
braveheart (oakfold remix) (that was cool and unexpected)
carte blache (fuckin right )
nalin & kane - beachball

seriously their was waaaaaay more, its just not coming to me now, but wow trance! and b4 the trance was fun house!

i was realy digging tonite, for once a mainroom set were it doesn't get all serious and techy, its like dancing in the old days of trance. definately won't be hearing mark do that again (or at least for a year!)

OMG I could not agree with you more!!!!
I think last night was my favourite night of 2005 at Guv.. just do to tunes that I have not heard in forever!!!

Here are a few more to add to your list.. mixes, etc may not be correct but feel free to correct me

Everybody (Yomanda remix) – progress presents the boy wunda
Red Pill, Blue Pill – junkie xl
Traffic – Tiesto
Get Down – Paul Johnston
Dark beat – Oscar G
Funk-a-tron – Robbie Rivera
Fire Wire – Cosmic Gate
Lonliness – Tomcraft
Need to feel loved (Thrillseekers Remix) - Reflekt ft Delline Bass
Punk – Ferry Corsten
For an angel – Paul van Dyk

My tune of the night without a doubt Love Shines Through – Chakra
Anyhow.. will write a real review later.. got places to go and people to see!

But Thanks to everyone out tonight.. you guys truly made this night even more incredible than it was with just the tunes

yeh seriously!!! it was funny to here mark oliver play those songs, instead of hearing the faceless z103 dj playing it, it felt like hering those songs for the first time when they were still cool (b4 the radio killed them). It was a really fun set to listen to, anyone that likes there music to hardcore woulda been disappointed (but if thats the case, those ppl shouldn't of come, cause this was meant to be a night of fun music all night long and it sure was, it felt like i was reliving a party back in 2000 or something)
