denon needs to release the new x1500 update

it's been almost a year now...where is it???

I'm afraid I don't think they're going to bother they're probably more concerned with designing its successors and other new equipment than improving existing models, which is a shame because I thought the whole point of the firmware upgrades was to allow the mixer to stay current for longer!

And from reading some of the posts on the Denon forums, it seems that as a company they don't see a need to fix anything. I would disagree, if they had fixed the channel fader lag a long time ago many people who faulted the mixer would have shut up.

Beyond fixes, though, it doesn't make much sense for them to add any new features, as it would take away from sales of their next geneation mixers.
