Ferry Corsten - Right of Way

I just got this album today from the Tsunami record label. Anyone know why it plays in slower BPM then the version from the Right of Way album? Thanks.

I am just going to go ahead and assume Ferry sped it up for the album. If so, I am dissapointed.

All I know is that a bunch of releases from the Tsunami label (at least on 12") are recorded on almost, if not exactly the same BPM. Easy as fuck to mix a few in a row.

Whether it's got anything to do with what you're saying, idunno.

Interesting. I hit the 45BPM button on my tables and all is well. Its always on 33 so I didn't think of it.

What does that mean?

Yeah same thing kinda happened last week when I was playing a Zeppelin record. I come upstairs and my friend was like, "yeah I think this record is screwed up." It sounded too fast and I thought since it was in the basement forever it was just fucked. Somehow, the 45BPM button was hit! Ugh... damnit! Haha!

There's a massive difference between 33 and 45rpm! It must have been playing at about 100BPM!

Yeah it was pretty funny. Me and my brother just looked at eachother with the "WTF" look. Turned the record over to Kyoto and the same thing. I was starting to get really frustrated and then I looked at the 45rpm and was like.... "I wonder..." Hahaha! But why make the record like that is my question?

hahah that happened to me when i got my first turntables.

when i finaly figured out how to hook everything up and get sound... i threw on a remix of benassi's satisfaction

it was supposed to be played at 45 and was on 35 (i didn't know any better)

and my friend and i looked at each other for a second... "this is a really chilled mix".... "cool"

a couple days later i figured it out hahaha
