i dress the same way when i see tiesto avb or whoever at crobar. last night i went to go hear jollins and serge and i got denied entrance cuz of my attire. ok so i go home and change. go inside and see some KIDS wearing the dirtiest crap. wtf is up with that

what kind of attire do you wear, if you don't mind me asking.

thats weird. we got in with jeans and sneakers no problem. Which guy turned you away?

you know i had the guys name. i spoke with casey on the phone. she thought it was weird too.

i was wearing a black tshirt with a logo design on the front. nice. clean. designer jeans, fitted. nice and clean. sneakers were old school blue with yellow trim nikes from the early 80s. i looked far from teen agerish. at least what i think??? who knows.ive always dressed that way to crobar and NEVER had a problem.

He's given my friend a hard time on quite a few occaisions. But, lately, he's been cool with us and not given us a problem. Yesterday, I was wearing jeans, old white reeboks, a white short sleeve t over a black long sleeve t, and a black beanie. Let me right in without a problem.

i got crobar VIP cards and peeps at the door and to be honest, i once went in my snowboarding jacket (khaki and khaki plaid) with my beanie with the brim to the side and my boy at the door let me right through no problem =P, also had on mittens and my face gator...no problems here

but i've heard stories of the guy being a dick what can you do about it eH?

What is the [usual] dress code at Crobar anyhow? They should be more accomodating with the prices they are charging and all, imo.
On a related note, I had a similar experience at Avalon last Thanksgiving, for Infected Mushroom. The door girl had warned Rachel (holycow) and myself about what we wore. When we went inside, we saw people with UFOs and the like (we had nothing on like that, btw).

Went in jeans and black sneakers here..
But I am a grown up cutie pie, no problems getting into crobar.. ever..
Once they said couples only, I grabbed some chick behind me in line and we got in together.. Bouncer asked her: u sure u want him with u inside? she is like... ok, let him in.. I was laughing thinking to myself: she probably wants me inside OF her, not WITH her..
