Use a synth to make them.

White noise + resonance + filter. Voila.

Try Crystal VST. It's free and good for that stuff.

You can make some decent sweeps with 3xosc Just set all osc's to white noise and play with filter.

once you have set up the synth, go into the ins tab and select vol

set del + att to 0 and amount to full. right click on spd and set to 1 step or whatever. will give that train kinda volume increase interference like in the ferry corsten mix of synaesthesia just before the main synth kicks in during the breakdown

hope that 1 helps u

play around with the other lfo's, settings + fx and u can make some pretty wild stuff

I fired on a phaser/flanger effect and mucked around with that in FL Studio. Sounded ok and different.

u dont need any flanger or something since its just a metallic effect on it , it wont sound sweepy

as Luke mentiond its all about ADSR Adjustments and LFO Tweaking
