I just spoke with some of my friends who want to go out somewhere on NYE but aren't interested in going to Pacha, Avalon, Crobar, etc. (unfortunately the prospect of seeing world class DJ talent doesn't do it for them). Does anyone have any good recommendations for other parties going on in NYC this year?

2 parties on NYE.. Not big clubs, but last years Ann street party had a few hundred folks, so not small either.

Check the dj's though.. the music types at these venues tends to vary greatly.
