I've been browsing the internet in search of a device panel for my JP-8000, but without any success. I'm using Cubase SX 3.1 now and it would be really nice to control the synth from within Cubase. By using a nice GUI that is

I didn't know you could do that,but when you do, please let us know how you've done it. oh and by the way Eye of the storm is just saweeet

good luck finding one, I know how to do that stuff in logic but not in cubase.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I hear that synthedit is used a lot for creating control panels. Windows only unfortunately

I don't really see the point of all the work programming a gui for a synth that allready has a knob for about every function. I want one for my micro Q

If you have Cubase SX 3.0 you can do this from within the Midi Device Manager. Just create a new device and add as many panels as you wish. Not for the faint hearted though.....

Yup, you can build a Midi control panel within Cubase, it's a really cool editor btw ... Check the manual for instructions

Hey. You wont find a better editor than SoundQuest's MidiQuest . Make sure to get the XL version because it allows using it as a VST dropin. Otherwise, youll only be able to use it as a standalone which is ok but it would be harder to automate .
