I was just just wondering what is everyone's honest take on DJs that are girls? Do you love em? Do you hate em? Do you respect them? Are they easier to remember? Are they talentless? Are guys better? I want to hear how you think girls are unequal to guys.
Can gender really affect how you perceive the talent of the dj?
Thanks!
Jess

I'll put it this way. I judge it purely based on music, but if the DJ is good AND female AND cute, it just makes it that much more special.

so far the female djs ive heard live have been rather outstanding...
oh wait...no i didnt like miss kittin...
being female doesnt really mean much in EDM imo if u dont have the skills to back u up
The female DJs I've heard so far have just been awesome. IMO I don't think gender is an issue at all here, and anyone who makes it as such, should just STFU.

If the female is good looking. Then her DJ skills dont have to be all that great for her to be mildly successful. But if shes actaully got some good dj skills & is attractive. Then she has a much bigger advantage in the world of DJing then most men (just because there are already WAY to many guys DJing)
But thats just my opinion.
Also. You kick ass at Djing Jess! Keep it up!

i think the main reason why we find so many threads such as this is because almost all (if not all) female djs ARE hot too so it does come to question
