nice full sound.. clean and weel produced.

sounds nice loud!

this would get me grooving.

1.38. i think the introduction of the synth then kinda makes it all far too busy. i really prefer it without the syth.

breakbeat is great. nice use of the vocal.

3.15 is great. i love it! maybe re arrange it so you have this part as the build and build to how it sounds before the 1.38 mark..

great work!

rich

About the 303.
How do I solve it without removing it?
What more should I add to the track?

"3.15 is great. i love it! maybe re arrange it so you have this part as the build and build to how it sounds before the 1.38 mark.."
I disagre with that. I'll keep the structure as it is.
What about the chords? I need the key damm it.

Anyone else?
Omer.

Hi,

Not really my cup of tea so ill stick to technical issues.

*Perc are decent, and go well with the bass.
*The bass could use more low frequencies.
*That distorted synth screams FL , so, change it or leave it as it is, its a mather of taste i guess.

Thats all,
Cheers

intro was nice.

percs are good, but overpower the lower frequencies, find a way to even it out to get a fuller/richer overall sound.

1:38.. um.. don't like it. call it taste.

breakdown is cool with the breakbeats, but the vocals aren't just quite placed right, i'd spread some of the parts out (ie seperate the vocal sample on occasion).

the breakdown is too long, or the part after it, just dies off (hence your asking for help)

the filtering on the intro is fine overall (kind of cool in a way, dunno how dj friendly it'll be but should be fine).

change up at 0:22 when the filter really kicks in is a tad strong imho. especially for an intro imho.

i'd pick a different synth or find an alternative for 1:38 and beyond, this could help you with your problem(s).

i think it can be manny keys but it doesnt matter, the notes are G, A, A#. It can be a Dorian mode i think...The hoover sound can fool you because of its harmonics. I'll be back with a review for your track.

Hey... the beat is really groovy, the flanged effect in the beginning is good but gets little bit boring after 1:30. It makes the track sound too muffled and slightly chaotic. There is some clearness missing in the track, try to add some high frequencies. Some of the effects like the swoosh before 3:00 are imo just too generic, they have been used for a million times. You could try to record the swoosh as audio and then mess around with it by chopping it up... Nice groovy stuff overall...

Cheers, Lakeus

SVDs version goes in GM.

I like this.
Pretty good job.
You have a swoop in there though and I think that it needs to be much deeper and more pronounced. Maybe that's because I'm thinking of the original.

The synth that everone is talking about, well I have to say I agree. Not sure that I feel that the acidy style is right for what you have. Alternatively, perhaps you should rewrite it, as it just seems to function as another layer at the moment when what you need at that point is something that brings a new flavour rather than bubbles along the top.

In the break:
Personally I'm not keen on the break beat thing there as I would like to get a bit of breathing room in the track. Perhaps take the kicks out altogether on that part.

Overall it's a nice piece but it needs more as you have already stated.
Keep at it though as it's worth finishing for sure.

Cheers
Nem

Hey,
commenting as I listen...
funky percussion. Works very well! Mastering is very good also
Those acidlines are your trademark for sure. Groovy stuff.
I havent heard the original tune but this tune sounds definately original in a way.
I dont have good suggestions for you how to continue however since I am not familiar with that style. But it sounds definately good so far. Maybe you could try to add more atmospheric sounds in some parts.
Good stuff so far
