M Audio are fucking shite, they really need to learn the term "customer service". 2 Months after spending £150 on a firewire audiophile im no further forward. They first claimed my laptop was the problem, when it clearly wasnt, After they had the unit 2 weeks they admitted it was their unit at fault, Since then its been awaiting parts for repair, getting no further forward after the last 6 weeks. They wont send a replacement unit, as the faulty unit can be repaired. Even tho yet it hasnt. I finally just gave up this morning and got a credit (after numerous telephone calls), which im going to use to pay towards the efx 500. A much better investment
M Audio arent as good as all the hype, you'll never get 0ms latency the best you can get with asio 2 support is 3ms and i get 3ms with my audigy 4 pro. even my onboard realtek audio chip gives me 9ms latency. And my creative has alot more credible features, just couldnt use it on the laptop lack of pci slots 
Best getting a E MU or other credible solution to use, than one from a company that couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery
