Just a quick note to anyone that used to visit Stereo (in Ft. Laud) now and then... it's as good as dead! We went there this past Saturday night b/c we heard through the grapevine that Edgar V was gonna be spinning there before he starts his new residency in SoBe next weekend. Anyway, at 1:00 am, including me and my girlfriend, there were literally about 10-12 people there! Edgar V was ready to leave but decided to stick it out. Don't ask me why, but we stayed till like 2:30 or so and there were only about 5-10 people there when we left! The place just went completely downhill after Garfield left back in November. One of the bartenders there told us that Trance is "no more" at Stereo, and starting next weekend it will be hip-hop full time. Kinda sucks b/c it was a cool, intimate club. Oh well, we drove over to Mercury Lounge at like 3:00 and it was totally jam-packed... I guess that's really the only "Trance" club now in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday nights.

Hearing that kinda reminds me of a night that I went to see Taucher at a club called Destination here in Atlanta. there were more than 10-15 people there but there were no more than 30. It was sad but the music was GREAT!
