Not sure if I have understood the question but basically all the Ortofon styli are interchangable so it shouldn't be a problem.

the stylii are interchangable, but you won't get quite the quality of the nightclub out of a pro cartidge with nightclub stylus

yeah i was having a bit of trouble explaining my logic (or lack of it) there! the two concordes i have seem totally identical but it was just the wierd numbers on the underside that threw me. Thanks though!

ok so does that mean that there is some difference in the actual concorde between an s and an e? I know s means spherical and e elliptical, but is there any difference apart from that in the actual concorde part (i.e. not the styli)?

not between e and s , but between the nightclub and the pro cartidge there's a bit of different

OK I've compared the spec on pro and nightclub and I see what you mean (slightly different output voltage, tracking force e.t.c.). Cheers tubby!

interesting... i always thought that all the concorde carts were identical, and that the only differences were between the stylii... but i guess not.
