Danny Rampling - End Of An Era

Well after 18 successful years Danny Rampling has finally bowed out of the DJing Circut. He claims he plans to now open a restaurant in London.
Doesnt even seem that long ago i listened to him live on radio 1's EM live from cream's 3rd birthday party bash back in 95 with pete tong.

Though he doesn't really play my favourite style, I've seen him live once and it was great fun. Technically far from flawless, but his record selection and the sheer energy he radiated definitely made up for it all.

I used to catch some of his R1 shows in 97-2000 when he followed Jules, and while it wasn't to my taste all the time, the guy clearly enjoyed what he was doing
