New Mauro Picotto CD

Mauro Picotto's Superclub

Dunno if there are any fans of D. J. D. J. mauro picotto, but if there you might appreciate this.

For full details check this out. It also has little previews.

The second CD is supposed to be chill-out. Will be interesting I think because I have never heard anything from Mauro that is ... chills!

This looks to be Picotto's best album to date. Excellent stuff, almost all at another level of sophistication than Picotto's previous work. Lots of experimentation that breaks with past habit, covering a variety of moods, yet somehow the whole thing sticks together brilliantly.

Together with Moshic's Shalamat, this is great, great news for 2006.

My only complaint is the exclusion of Alchemist, but it might have simply not fit the theme of the album.

looks nice, other than it seems that it's all edits/short versions, which as most of you probably already know, I HATE! so i think i'm gonna pass this one. will have to listen to it first though.

It's an excellent cd, still unsure about his downtempo stuff, but all the new tracks on this cd are good.

With the second cd being a chillout, this is very similar to his last double album release in 2001, but with alot less trance.
Heard the previews & cd one fuking bangs. Cant wait! not too much longer.

Whethere or not the second cd isnt to your tase the music is magnificent bar the Carl fanini tracks which are very bad, whether or not is Fanini spoilng them well you decide.

Sanderson is a genius piece of music not danceable but as piece of music its quite outstanding.

Montecarlo Night is another favourite of mine, and it can be also incorpated in a set if you so wish but it would be hard to mix, but the beat is so danceable and nice pads.

Ghost, I love the vocal, sounds like Picotto on vox is it really chill I dont think so although mellow than most tracks but still I would love this on a dancefloor.

Phobia another nice track and the most dance friendly track out of all fo them nice and deep techno sounds.

The others are okay but I felt the need to talk about those tracks being my fav on cd2 and probably my favs of the album.
