Mmm.. Listening to old cds now when this track appeared. I am asking myself if the main melody is a sample from an old track or if it can be done easily in Reason, Cubase, etc.

Two HUGE samples in the track.....so much so, that they gave away 50% of the publishing to each party.

The main horn hook/melody is Johnnie Taylor - 'What About My Love ', and the second hook (the 'im a different person' vocal) is Anthony White- 'Let me love you tonight', which originally sampled Imarri - 'Let me Love you' (but was uncredited)

Spot on! I thought I'd heard the hook myself when I were a nipper and there you go.

Thanks, i really think is not that easy to make a synth sounding similar.

i'll give it a shot later on tonight, but i have to figure out what synth would be the best for making a lead like that.
