as usual i watched the news and i've seen that germany decided to release a new campain on TV and advert to talk about pedophilia .....it's simple one hospital in berlin invite the paedophiles to talk about their problems and the fact that they are attracted by young kids .....so they take appointment with some therapists and are followed by them and receieve a treatment ...the goal is to prevent the paedophile to rape.....the program just begun but already 160 of them are registered and ready to follow this program


i think it's a good idea and that we should do the same here

jeebus... 160 pedophiles already... i dunno it could be a good idea or a bad one... but why would people be attracted to kids? thats pretty sick...

anywhoo... good idea because the people are admiting their problems and trying to deal with it and leads to possible protection of rape. bad idea, well not necessarily bad... but do you think it will really work? but i guess we'll leave that up to the germans as the guinea pigs to figure that out first!

Well, they've probably sat down and considered the pros and cons of it.


Anyway, the Danish government has just opened a phone support line for pedophiles, which is about time I'd say. Previously pedophiles seeking help from authorities have recieved no help, which is a disservice to both them and society, I think. Hopefully, we'll follow the example set by the Germans later on.

i think it will be interesting to see what kind of progress they can make. the fact that these people are registering for classes suggests that they know what their doing is wrong, but perhaps it's just an uncontrolable compulsion like alcoholics or drug addicts or something similar. if we can ever find a way to change these people's mindset to one more normal so they can function in society that'd be great.

well they interviewed a guy (his face was hidden) but he said he was attracted to little boys ...when he was sitting next to them in for example a train he couldn't prevent himself from staring at them and feeling the need to do something with them (if u know what i mean) ....like a pulsion ....but this guy registered to the program ....that also allowed him to not go to jail for exhibitionism .....
but seriously these people when they rape even though they go to jail when they are released like 20 yrs later do the same ....i've read and bought the book written by sabine dardenne for the europeans maybe u heard about marc dutroux in belgium ....and sabine was one of the only little girl who managed to escape from the pedophile and well in the book she says clearly that dutroux have been condemned to jail but released because of his good behavior ....

to me these people should be in jail til they die !

Because they're so gentle and pure. And their soft skin smells so nice. And then when you see them innocently jumping around you get that overwhelming urge to find them and take them home and...um..hehe..nevermind that.

The German government should follow through with the faux offer to rehabilitate in classic Nazi-German style. Once they have these pedos tricked in to signing up for relocation, they can heard them in to cattle cars and take them to a concentration camp for some hard labor before they die of starvation.

WEll its an interesting idea, lets see how it works out. I still think that it would have been much simpler to lock these people up for the rest of their lives.

I think that they should be put into in-patient treatment programs until they die. At least that way we could endeavor to get a better understanding of what it is (or what type of brain chemistry) that drives people to act on such grotesquely immoral compulsions.

And while I agree that they should be removed from the general population, the reality of it is that jail time really doesn't solve anything - it only makes people worse off in the long run.
