Yeah I dunno what was up with the mixing on that CD. I dunno if it is because he's just not good at mixing, didn't quality control the CD or properly put it together? I have no idea. I'll take your word for it, but I will say this...just because someone is a good producer, doesn't mean they will be a good DJ. Just because they are a good DJ, doesn't mean they are a good producer. So if indeed he is better, then maybe it was just a fluke, but if it's not that great, then maybe DJing isn't for him? Maybe if he does want to play out his tunes, just play his tunes with a few other tracks mixed in radio like, and not beatmixed? From the sounds on that CD, he just couldn't beatmix for the life of him, and I thought I couldn't beatmix....there was one point in the CD where I was like "wtf?" because he interrupted the flow of things and put two tracks..."Missing" and "9 PM (Till I Come)" and the quality cut off and the flow of the mix was broken, which is a no no as a dj unless you are 1. a really good dj who wont make it too noticeable or 2. something goes wrong in the mix and you want to "improvise" or say you make a mistake or the record/CD skips etc...
