Pioneer 3000-Series

Since every mixer seems to have it's own thread, i'd appreciate your thoughts on pioneer's 3000 series, am i the only one who has it? (CMX- and DJM-3000)
Mainly interested in what the pros and cons are let's say vs. DJM-600
and two CDJ-100's or 200's.

I like the DJM3000. I don't know why, i'd just rather have one over the 500/600. Plus I think it has more efx or parameters or something. I might pick the used one up at guitar center here for $300

One of the biggest praises I hear is that it has 4 phono inputs...the 600 doesn't.

It comes in handy for those 2x4 sets.

I have a CMX-3000, didn't like it much so I bought a CDJ-800 aswell which was quite more fun, and then I bought a tech, might buy a second tech this week ~vinyls FTW~

Yes i like the djm 3000 too......because its a 19" proper mixer. Personally cannot stand 10" or 12" mixers- just seem really small and cluttered.

CXM is good too- if you can get along with the rackmount thing.

I've had the cmx/djm for about 3 years now, very happy with it. I much prefer it to the cdj800 for mixing, with the hot cues, wave display and pitch bend buttons. the djm does have some cross fader effects taht the djm600 doesn't but I can't say I've ever used them. You lose the sampler for that.
The djm600 has large eq knobs, but the 3000 is nicely spaced out. best thing though is having two tt's and 2 cd's all nice and close together. cmx has a much larger job wheel than most duals, so it's pretty much the same size as the 100/200's.

Has anyone of you seen a 3000 with silver/chrome trim knobs!?
Dude, can't find them anywhere, and my google's been on fire.

those are part of the rotary kit, which i don't think sold very well. In australia at least pioneer sold them off very cheap to get rid of them and don't sell them anymore.
