Purple Haze - Adrenaline vs. Pryda - Aftermath
They are both the equivalents in each genre. The tracks that have a simple melody and were overall simple productions. Huge buildups. They aren't meant to be taken as the most mind-blowing songs ever produced, they are merely meant to get the floor going. But which did it better?
trance has Adrenaline. A looping track with a fierce build and gets the job done in a respectable amount of time, 9 minutes. It's catchy and anyone can tell when it's coming.
House has Aftermath, and electro-clash track with yet another fierce build. This song, however, has bridged across genres. Anyone from Armin to Hernan to Sasha have been spinning this track. My only problem is in its full, uncut length, it's 15 minutes long. The track is wayyyy too repetative to last 15 minutes. In a sense it's about a 10 minute build up to a 3 minute breakdown to a 2 minute fade out.
I think I like Adrenaline a bit better just because it keeps true to its form and doesn't take forever to get through.
