Hi there,
I am working on a site and I need some American/British dude to speak in some vocals. I was not sure where to get these, but then I thought, 'why not ask my tranceaddict mates?' . Sorry to kind of be off topic, but as you guys are all producers, you all have good noise-free sound cards and know how to record a sound. + Lots of Americans and Brits in here.

I will pay to the vocalist who is chosen to star in the movie. I will pay only by PayPal (30$).

Details:
It's for a European clothing company which creates streetwear, I need some vocals for the intro. The intro is dark and kinda creepy. The voice needs to have an genuine American or British accent. The intro is kinda epic, so please talk as if you would speak in a commercial for a movie with knights and stuff (low and dark). Please do not proces the sound (I need it as raw as possible), I will add fx like reverb myself.

Here is the text:
"When the sword becomes the shield"
"The hunter becomes the prey"

"When mind replaces heart"
"The strong become the weak"

"It takes courage to make sacrifices"
"It takes sacrifices to be victorious"

"No victory without a battle" ----> this sentence needs to be shouted, it maybe would be cool if you individually record each word of this sentence, then you get a cool effect?
"No battle without victims"

Im not used to asking for vocal services, so please correct me if the price is too low.

Btw: All sentences in one mp3 file is fine, but separated is good too (do as you like).

PS English is not my native language, so if you feel there is a error in the sentences feel free to improvise (only the sentence 'no victory without a battle' cant be modified)

Sorry to be a pain in the ass.

You should at least be earning 20x the amount you're offering to pay the vocal person... If not, you've been ripped off yourself. (I'm counting on the company being pretty big - if it isn't... less money is more likely )

Yeah but this money is easily made, it's 2 minutes of work. I don't get that much btw, I am a hobby webdesigner.

But OK, I am willing to double the price, $30.

Next time I really suggest you to take a look at the name and fame of a company before naming a price tag, bigger companies have bigger budgets, and more visitors, thus the website, and the music are worth more. Just thinking out loud here. I'm getting 120$ for a mere 8 hours of php coding soon (and the company I'm doing it for is quite small!)

Jesus god, 120$ for '8' hours? wow. Standard going rate on C# consulting and development is $150 an hour.

That is what I mean, 120$ is not much but it isn't nothing either. I'm just saying you should think over the price depending on the project. And I started doing php for this project, I couldn't do it before so I can't let them pay too much
