[ Laidback Uplifting] Static Blue - Luminance

Hello guys,

i thought it's about time to post a clip of a track i'm working on at the moment

This one is pretty laidback uplifting trance, a bit less energic than my usual i'd say, and concentrating more on harmonies. Hope you like it !

feedback is welcome, even harsh feedback

Static Blue - Luminance

peace,
Jon

This track has the most beautiful break! Anyways, I love the way a bass is implemented to give the break a backbone. Even though it's an laidback uplifting, I think you should add a rolling snare or sharp sound that will transition the song back into the grove, Just a tought!

Can't wait to hear when it's finished!

Yeh this is nice. Really mellow and soul-soothing I think. Nice piano.

Hey Jon,

Beginning is very much Chicane like That little synth sounds pretty much the same as the Offshore track. Your synth just sounds a tad more sophisticated. Even the piano that you add reminds of it. So please do not take this the wrong way, you probably never even hear the offshor track, but the originality of this track is not very big

Loving the total sample though, really nice laidback trance and produced very well. Looking forward to hearing the complete track!

Cheers,

Nomen Nescio

This track is extremely pro sounding and almost perfectly mastered.
The melodies are very nice indeed. This has a LOT of potential. Let us know when its finished.

Chicane, Kamaya Painters - Summerbreeze, like synth u got there..

the mixing is very good, everything sounds clear and crisp, percussions are very standard, and the melody is a tad bright and happy for my tastes, but i think ull get this signed with no problem..

Thanks to the 3 of you its great to read those kind of comments !

Maybe i'll try using a more powerful bassline to drive the track along.
