[Psy/Acid] Walter Pearce - Tines

Kinda a mix of Psy and Acid. Honestly Im not really sure what to call it, its really just what came out when I sat down and started putting a psy bassline together. I really like the way it came out though.

This is a 192kbps partial-mixdown unmastered.

lemme know what ya'all think? Peer opinion is hard to get these days hehe.

Walter Pearce - Tines

(I also have another track, that you can comment on *if you like*, but its not the main subject of this post)
Walter Pearce - Stain

Interesting sounds...the build is very good but when the track comes in after there seems to be a lack of energy there...maybe more pecussion would help...not really what I dig but not bad.

I haven't even listened, but I dig a man who actually pays for a fast server. WOOT 18 megs done like that!

Pretty dark stuff. Not too shabby. One of your hat sounds old and crunchy. I'm not sure I like it. But then you layer it with a newer sounding one. Interesting.

/me listens to Walter Pearce - Tines [03:30 of 07:57m/320Kbps/44KHz]

I like this. Makes my head hurt (that's good). If I were tripping... I'd be totally whacked out.

You're effects are certainly strange and dark. Samples are good.

/me listens to Walter Pearce - Tines [04:06 of 07:57m/320Kbps/44KHz]

I like your production. Keep up the good work.

First I have to say this is not the style I usually listen to.
1st. Like the breathy filtered clap! creates a nices atmostphere same for the pornmoaning. the talkingvocals are cool too!
Ive always wondered how the do that filter/pitch change w/ that acid line.. nice job! hihats do their work!! keep it up man!

It sounds very minimalist. I think it could use some more elements.

I like your acid.

I can't say much more than try to introduce some complexity. Trance is best when it's complex.

yuh that's because I've been working on an album. I haven't made a thread announcing a release like an album, because no one would care, So i've been keeping quiet, but still reviewing other people's work.

that's all.

Yah, a buddy of mine that I do production with gave me shit for the name...Sunshine wasnt really matching with the feel of the song, so I renamed it stain...obviously I missed one of the tags

Thanks, I better upload another tagged version of it.

Tines is real word.

Tines means a 'Prong', something pokey. Like the prongs on a fork. Could also be substituted for claws..and the vocal samples are pretty mean and make me think claws...I dont know. IM wierd lol.

The feel of the acid along with the psy bassline, the word just kinda popped up

and here is why ... lol.
when it drops down almost to nothing, it slowly pulls me in to it allot bro.
before that i was just another tune.
sry had to listen to it a few times.
i likey.
save.

edit: found another element i like.
before the major slowdown, there is like a minor one where the beat stops.
and when it picks back up, thats tight.
more i listen more i like obviosly.
sry i lack technical language lols.
