Don't know the track, but the stuff he did was pretty nifty. I wouldn't call it mixing though as I didn't really hear him bring in another track, just mess around with one track and scratch it on the 1000.

Len Faki - Just A Dance Part 2

What he's doing there actually isn't all that impressive. He's just looped that annoying sample that he's been using for fucking yonks now, and then the rest is obvious. It looks more impressive than it is because of the amount of enthusiasm he puts in. Eddie Halliwell is an entertainer, i'll give him that, but as far as DJ's go he's nothing special.

edit: Cracking tune though.

Indeed. I was at that night btw. It was his Godskitchen debut I think, and he was fucking hammered. At the end of his set he was speaking on the mic regarding some comments Tiesto had made about him in mixmag, and how Tiesto was shit. Then he proceeded to get back on the decks and play Tiesto's version of Barber's Adagio, and do loads of live effects over it. I'm sure anyone that saw him at some point in 2004 will know what i'm talking about, he did it loads.

damn...yes very entertaining indeed. Does he continue doing those kinds of things througout sets? Seems to me, things like that might have to be rehearsed, at least to the degree that he is doing it. And what is that a sample of that he is using?

No doubt in small doses this is amazing, but he rapes the effect to no end. If you like this, just check out James Zabiela. He knows how much to do.

What comments did Tiesto make about him? I don't recall reading or hearing about this.

I give the guy credit though, even though it's a loop, it's a good way to get the crowd pumped.

Not true

He doesnt do the scratching and FX that much, I think Zabs does it a bit more then him, if you see him live youll understand.

He always does crazy stuff like this on the first track to get the crowd pumped.

He is the only Trance DJ worth seeing.

He has undeniable talent, showmanship and even good tlists.

The guy is the shit, and he knows it too

Mikey Mike :
If putting on a show is not impressive, how is standing arond like an ass for 3 hours and beatmatching like armin or whoever else do is ?

Any local dj can beatmatch, its all about the extra thing you do to make yourself stand out
