Talking Night Clubs in France, Help a Canadian....

Hello!

I was wondering if it was possible for anyone to inform or help me.

I need to know popular clubs for House music, in Paris, Nice, and San Tropez. As well as any big DJs who will be in these areas at the time.

The dates that I will be in France are:

Paris: Monday August 28, 2006- Friday September 1st, 2006

Nice/San Tropez: Friday September 1, 2006- Wednesday September 6th, 2006

Also any fun things to do as a young tourist!

Thank you in advance!

MK

and in poor french:

Bonjour !

Nice/San Tropez : Vendredi Septembre 1, 2006- Mercredi Le 6 Septembre, 2006

En outre toutes choses d'amusement à faire en tant que jeune touriste ! Merci à l'avance ! Mk

enjoy your trip in france, but don't bother going clubbing there, it's absolutely crappy. even the french cross the border to their neighbouring countries for clubbing

It's not wrong for tranceaddicts but for people who like "house music", my feeling is that they can still enjoy partying in France.

MKpacha -> difficult to give you names of DJs and detailed agendas of parties at that period because French clubs are often making their announcements very late. But you can always check some of the following websites one week before coming, you should find some information.

--> Paris: Monday August 28, 2006- Friday September 1st, 2006

www.lemonsound.com - agenda section
www.parisbouge.com - agenda section

--> Nice/San Tropez: Friday September 1, 2006- Wednesday September 6th, 2006

Nice - a new club has opened in Cannes (20 km from Nice, with direct trains going there) with a great line-up announced. It is called "Le Palais" and is on the roof of the "Palais des festivals". But as it opens beginning of July, we don't know what it looks like. And I think it closes its door by end of august. More info soon probably.

The best for the French riviera would be to go to a record shop or a clothes/sneakers shop and ask for flyers of house parties. Many parties are organised on the beach or boats in Juan Les Pins, Antibes, or St Tropez during summertime. In Nice you can find this kind of shops in the old town (called "le vieux nice"), rue droite for example.

That's all I can say to help you. Hope you will enjoy!
