Nu-Nrg - Casino(incl. Stoneface & Terminal Mix) [Monster]

The italian duo serve up their latest offering on the very consistent Monster label. The Nu-Nrg vibe is very much there and fans should not be dissapointed.A very energetic release but somehow, not quite as energetic as some of their previous productions/remixes.
Henry & Matthias address this issue by delivering a MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE remix. An absolute headfuking pounder with immense crossover potential. I expect the hard dance/NRG junkies to be taking bites out of this as well.
The final mix is by label boss, Brisky. Not much being done here. The bassline has been tweaked and a few fx have been added here and there. Importantly, the energy has been mantained uniformly throught all 3 mixes.
Altogether, a cracking energetic release.

Stoneface & Terminal Mix - 9/10 Sample
Original Mix - 7.5/10 Sample
Brisky Mix - 7.5/10 Sample

Release Date : 20 Feb 2006

First of all, I've never been a big fan of Casino and I was looking for a improvement of it by listening to the remixes.

Stoneface & Terminal remix is nothing but boring, I didn't find their remix of this track any good. Original mix isn't sounding good either, that's the one I've never liked. Brisky's remix sounded a little better then both the Original mix and the Stoneface & Terminal remix, It wasn't really good either, but alot more interesting than the other two.

Thumbs down

Im kind of agreeing with zoric on this one.

The Original Mix is so flat and 2 dimensional, im very dissapointed with the Stoneface & Terminal Remix, especially after the stunning remix of Fred Baker Pres Iguana - Beautiful Sunshine, they just took that great track to a different level, but this remix seems a bit lazy

The Brisky Remix is a bit more listenable, more groovier with a little bit more beef (not much)

Poor release tbh

Why does everyone hate Casino?

I think it's a very fine track.

Well, It wouldn't be that bad if there hadn't been Freefall and Dreamland before, but the problem is that Casino is rather a Tech-Trance / Club track...
It may not be such a bad one in a party, but without melody a Trance track is NOT a genuine Tune, that's all...
