It's been 2 years now since we built our studio... and surely it was the best thing I every did. I must say i did the mistake of buying several things when I first started, things that I do not use and nearly never did.... but that happens to alot of us I think.

Yeah I've bought a couple of things that I never/rarely use. Halion 3 being a prime example. It's probably very good but I just don't use it. I could do with that £300 back tbh.
Great setup btw. If only I had the money to spend on something like that............Ahhhhhhh, I can dream.

i have mates who are into electronic music, but very few are into production etc... i've had people tell me they would rather spend their money on drugs rather than music stuff like me... meh. every dollar i have spent on audio gear has brought me countless hours of enjoyment and stress relief. god bless synthesis!

Interesting to see there is no apparent acoustic treatment in that studio? did you have any issues with standing waves or awkward reflections in that room?

Get rid of the 505, it sucks lol I used to have one back a while.
Looks neat for the rest.
well...... big space for one hardware synth.... mmmm true..... But we have about 13 soft synths in there...I really belive in soft synths...
In a track you wont notice the difference between the two
The studio is treated with rockwool all around... as for the accoustics part.. I dont seem to have a problem at all....... The mackies are very good for monitoring.
