[Melodic Goa]Cybernetika - Farthest Shore (320kbps, full)

Hey!
Got a new track I want to show to you
I'm a bit on the melody trip now.. this one is called "Farthest Shore" and its maximal melodic Goa Trance.
I am still thinking of a little change to the final melody as well as some minor mastering issues, but basically this one is done. I spent a lot of time on it. :P

the link:

Enjoy!

loving the bassline on this one, really flows with that punchy kick. Im not sure about the accordian type sound before the 1st break, but i am sure that the melodic elements in this track are sweeet. I've been listening to a lot of asteriX lately and this comes close, all i can recomend is some energy cuts/breaks + premium fx. Other than that, this is a prime track, thanks for sharing

great tune. As a "producer" you are far above my level, so I have nothing to add as I started in January

However, I will talk as a consumer, a kid in a record store. This judgement is harsher, since it would be my money and I don't need logical reasons. The beginning is dull and irritating. The breaks are a little forced. And on my home stereo, tweaked out for trance and ruining all subtle mastering, there is no kick, the bass through the subwoofers completely obliterates the pathetic little squeek. As a club mix it falls. In headphones, sounds very dreamy though.

Great job. I would love to know how you guys make a track sound NOT like some guy screwing around with an virus, station, etc in his bedroom. Does it sound that slick after mixing, or is it your mastering?

I like the synth that sounds kinda like an accordion at 1:44

Meh, the breakdown at 4:41 is really sudden and not altogether appealing. Try having another layer in there to make the transitions a bit more natural-sounding. Then, if you want that more pwerful transition at 4:54, just have it taper off. Maybe have the high percussion pattern continue and bring a low pass filter sweep down.

Melody at 6:36 doesn't really do it for me. The lead sounds really thin, too.

After the break for the melody, the track seems to loose a lot of drive, and by the end almost seems to focus on the novelty of the melody. And that leads one down the path to the dark side (epic trance). It has its moments, but they're never fleshed out. Most of the synths are kinda weak and thin. You need some more atmosphere. Maybe add a pad, like that one at 6:28.

Before then, it's pretty good, like around 3:30 and 5:30. I also really like your bass and kick. Very mint, those two.

I like the plasticy kick and bass. Intro melody felt a bit out of place. It seems to fit in better later on but in the begining it just felt a bit forced. Overall I didn't like this as much as your usual stuff. Especially the melody at around 6:40 - that was very wtf . It's got it's moments though. But I don't think it mesures up to your standard.

ah an cybernetica track..

cool as fuck intro, though i would try for a more surprising intro, even if this was surprising.

the accordian thing cuts in my ears, it also doesnt fit the track so good i think.

maybe a formant sound?

i like the arpy thing coming in ! everything flows in this track, well.. maybe not the accordian :P but it would fit better in the back!

this has a very im'ish character i think! wich is really good..
but offcourse, making a track sounding totally im'ish is nearly impossible! im is amazing.

i dig the dark arp extremely much! cool! now you only need some background pad/string thing to go with it and you have a really cool lead!
the percs are cool as hell, all that from fl? .
the synth that comes around 6:36 is cool, anthemy i think.

sounds very psychadelic! the first thing that comes into mind after that is at 7:00 something when that arp + accordian comes in, cool part but as i said before.. i would prefare the accordian in the back.

the bass is really original psy i think, wich is cool...

cool track!

The bassline & bass drum are awesome

As mentioned above the accordian seems like a weird choice of synths, but it's ok.

2:00 The ambient pads are great. You could thicken them a bit more or turn them up a touch.

2:50 - 3.53 great work with the build up. Lots of energy.

5:00 Nice dark psy-ish fx layer

5:20 good build up.

6.15 the pads are erie and atmospheric. They are are a great addition. The fx in the background sounds cool & should be put forward more.

6:40 whoaw love this new freaky frequency morphing layer. Very original & cool.

The layout of this tune is surprising. I like where you took it & was pleasantly surprised by the final riff.

It has been awhile since I posted, but I have to check out this cybernetika track. I just finished two new tracks, I'll post them when I finish listening to this piece.

It's downloading right now.

Okay so here it is, nice intro, sound very early 90s. Oh hell yeah, groovy maddness on the bassline. Shit, this stuff is hot. I love it so far. I might want to use this piece in a set at my next show I play at. I love how you left room for the kick to resonate and create pound pound power. Something very strange though, this has a very frost raven vibe to it. It's probably been awhile since you heard any of my tracks, but this piece really reminds me of the style of music that I write.

This is excellent, , I am diggen this piece. And I dont think there is any need to change anything.
