I decided to take a stab at Uplifting and so far all I can come up with is the first 2 minutes of a tune. I'm trying to get a masive sound and at the same time learn to manage my levels. Now, dont get me wrong, Im not lazy or dumb, but so far the tune has a structure and careful sequencing, but we all have to agree that uplifting might be one of the hardest styles to get a good well balanced mix down in. So can we all jus tbe open minded and check out my tune? The levels are somewhat unbalance I know, but first Im producing it raw so that later I can polish it and give it a nice clean sound
Anyways, here my tune. Comments that could help me further finish this, I would appreciate. I'll be sure to be reviewing your tunes too, those who work hard on theirs get at least a comment ffrom some of us here at TA that listen

I like it only problem is your bassline is playing a wrong note. I hear it at 1:32. I'm pretty sure you need to put it up a semi-tone or something. It's just off you know what I mean ;P Other than that I'm looking forward to hearing the full tune.

the kick could has some more eq work i think, bassline is not bad, i like the clap, percussion is nice, maybe a bit dry, though?
string is very nice, good work with it mate

i agree with djlogik, fix the bassline in the buildup!

would be nice to hear the final version, when its finished!

I noticed the odd detune in the bass.
I've been trying to get the kick to have a more sharp and more "click" sound. I've tried putting the mids up,, I'll see what I can pull off.
