Good choons, good folks, good times.

Got there early to grab a beer at the State bar next door as the line amassed outside. Some fellow Detroiters were chillin' and we could hear them warming it up from the open door into the Theatre. Got in line around 9:15 pm and went in. KT started it out mellow - building to a nice simmer for Jerry Bonham.

Ran into Ivan & Josh right around that time, lol. It was very cool to be hanging out in Detroit with TOTAs (WNTA'S???). The Detroit force was smaller than usual but it was a Thursday night. Bonham banged it -playing techy a lot which I love when it comes to trance.

Then came the PVD moment - wow. Now I remember why I was such a wreck the last time I saw him in 2004. The man is a unique player in the trance scene - for awhile, he got downright proggy haus electro on me! He, of course, ended with "Time of Our Lives" and yes, I did manage to get video of it.

I have pics too which I will post tonight when I get home. Also got a few vids - not quite sure of all the tracks but know one is of Filo & Peri "electrofunk".

Last night was just what I needed - I cannot stop smiling today! It was great meeting your friends from Windsor, Josh - def will be seeing you at Decadence III my friend.

Any time TOTAs wish to visit the D, mi casa, su casa. I love having people come here!

I've been waiting to see Paul Van Dyk for 3 years now. It was DEFINATELY worth the wait. Got there a bit early to have some drinks in the state theater bar, thought I could sneak in that way too, but no dice. I had to line up like everyone else. I was quite impressed with KT as well. I thought his warm up set was a nice lead into PVD's. I went mental when I heard about an angel, possibly one of my most favorite tracks - period.
and Marco V - red, blue purple. I have some video and pics that i'll post when i get situated back at home here - just got in from detroit.
It's unfortunate that the events have to end at 2. I would have loved an encore - maybe im just being selfish
