some of you maybe saw me a few times around here, but this is my first production i present on the forum

Is is a little demo of my track 'Space Garden - Above The Sky' which i am currently working on.

Any kind of feedback is welcome.

bass is a bit too loud, imo!
i'm not a big fan of that leadmellow...kinda guitar mellow is ok!
percs are basic, but good...

try adding some more percs...this will give the track the last touch of groove and a more rollin' sound...
imo you should also edit the lead mellow and sound...though it's a matter of taste...
from the technical site this production sounds good...

Great atmosphere, I really like the bass. The lead sounds awesome. I would want it louder. You should finish this and also give it a deeper kick if you can.

nice track mate

lead has a nice sound to it but the bass over powers it.

nice start though

- Sudden start. That would make it hard to mix in.

- Bit short, half the work is presentation. Intro's breaks and outro's

- A lot going on at the same time. Very complicated and chaotic. Concentrate on making one channel perfect so you won't have to mask it's simplicity with multiple lines of melody.

- Very clean sound, try some effects, automations and dynamics.

- Nice main melody. I like melodies that stay the same while the rest of the track progresses. Gives the track a lot of identity.

- Nice choice of chord progression in the bassline. 0,+3,0,0. Would be nice to hear it presented in a break without the melody.

- Nice BD sequencing at one of the intro's. Try some dynamics on the BD to make it sound less like it was just sequenced in. Like an autowah or compressor that swoomps it down when the BD is played more freqently.

Anyway, nice work. I'd like to hear the finished work.

Music is as universal to people as breathing. We've probably been at it since before we even started talking. Immaging two cavemen smashing away at a peace of flint to make a spearhead. It wouldn't take long for them to learn te synchronise the sound. And there you have it, the words first percussive band.

Music has survived wars, famines, the plague and many other things and has evolved with man across many cultures. Dance music is just the next step in the evolutionary chain. My guess is that it will probably be with us untill we are extinced.

yes, its only in this demo, in the final version i will add intros and outros, i just wanted to know if i am on the right way

you mean the pad lines?

It does sound pretty nice, pretty short, too bad myspace player sux real bad because I cannot give you my real opinion about the mixdown.
I think you should post a longer demo dude, right now it does sound liked u tried to put too much stuff in a small box imo.
Looking forward for the final tune .
