OCAS Advice

Just wondering if any TA's have advice on accepting offers of admission. Im possibly going back to college and was just wondering do I wait for all offers ? I've already graduated from Seneca but for Police Foundations. The new program I'm interested in is located at both Seneca and Humber. The thing is only Humber confirmed my offer soo far. Should I wait and stay with Seneca because I already have one diploma from them ?

what program?

wayy too vague dude.

I guess the only thing I can say based on that is...

"Apparently" places of employment prefer to see variety of schooling.

[My sister and mother just confirmed, they like to see you are more adaptable]

- variety of experience

- increasing skill set

I personally disagree with this, because it is different when you attend college.

What program were you thinking of doing?

Great points

Well the program I am thinking of doing is Court Tribunal Agent-paralegal 2yr. This course is offered at both Seneca and Humber. I totally agree with the fact that my previous Diploma will benefit me later even if I get a second Diploma is in a different area of Law. The two combined make for a pretty solid and expanded understanding of how various aspects of our legal system work.

Thank you fo some those points you made

i know for university, if you accept UniA and then receive an offer to UniB, and you decide to accept UniB..then UniA acceptance becomes void. but u can still change your mind

You are welcome.

Dude then basically, it just comes down to basic dirt research!

couple of examples I personally did before I chose my program.

- checked out the school
- made an appointment to see the program co-ordinator, he gave me a tour of the school.
- attended orientations

the program co-oridnator pretty much convinced me to seneca.

Sheridan was a complete joke - I wasn't impressed with GBC because I didn't meet any teachers nor saw any of the facilities I would be using.

Seneca for the win!
