[Dream Breaks]Cybernetika - Distal Kingdom (192kbps, full)

Hey,
I just felt like doing a very dreamy and trippy track like this. I dont want to waste much words. If you like Psychedelic Ambient Breaks, this one should hopefully work

Here is the link:
http://www.cybernetika.de/cyberneti...tal_kingdom.mp3

I am still thinking of making some elements more upfront and maybe adding a main theme, but first of all I want to know what you guys think.

Equipment used: FL Studio 6, ReFX Vanguard, rgc z3ta+, Spectrasonics Atmosphere.
Enjoy

those filtered (?) loops, breaks in the start was cool as hell! i would try for a even fatter sound when they come in and try to filter them in! that would sound cool, watch the low freqs only.

the atmosphere in this is cool, and the track is fast. i like it .
it has emotion too, thats really neat . i think this tune really show your producing skills well. but i would try to get that break beat more intense maybe filtier!

i would also try for a reversed snare/hat in there, they are so cool.

the fast synth that goes from side to side is extremely neat! maybe a tad.. low..anonymous.. maybe try distort them or add a supersaw or something?

i really like those filtered beats now when the tune comes in fully its great but the "break" was a tad to long for me to keep interest all the time.

the atmosphere is yet again great in this..

great work! can i get a 320 v?

hey cyber,

im listening while writing, nice intro and sounds used, good timing for the kick, nice atmospheric background sounds, sweet bassline, the drums sound kinda like drum 'n bass wich is cool,

4:30 Wow sweet! love it, nice lead psy! and the soft kick before the lead fits well. i gotta say the bass-line is very nice very psy-ish.

very good, i have no comments. im going to add this to my collection,
and this is a must for the psy-unite mix! keep up the good work

Always a pleasure to see Cybernetica still in action.

No complaints about this mix. I don't see the reason to bring up the elements further in the mix, they seem good and dreamy where they are at.

Nice stuttered synth.

This tune has an aura of psychedelic without the evilness sounding forced. It's quite refreshing really.

Good, good. Your last breakbeat that I remember was something called
"Abyssal Voyage" and I enjoyed that thoroughly. However, I'm almost inclined to say I enjoyed that even more.

That breakdown felt a bit to much like an end for my tastes. I think there would have been less sudden ways of doing that.

This chord progression sounds like something BT would do if he were making psy. It's really quite interesting.

Excellent piece of music, man. A little different from your usual, but the fact that it's so well done shows your skill.

sweet phasing sound & ambient chior sytle pads at the start.

1:20 beat kicks in. sounds great.

1:45 the pads are great.

2:09 the bass layer is nice & warm; Very uplifting. Great layering. The pads set a deep atmosphere.

3:35 New panning layer enters; Could be turned up a bit.

5.30 the gated synths could be built up with another layer - built up chord IMO. Sounds great though.

6:00 nice layering.

I loved it Lars. Really great work mate.

Hey...

Commenting as I listen. The beginning is great, it creates a really trippy atmospohere for the track!! Nice beat...and the synth bass line works well. The effects and all kinds of distorted sounds are really nice. Great mixing and production imo... I like the tweaking which you have done here. The break is beautiful... It´s a really good track imo!

Cheers, Lakeus

Thanks a lot for the comments, guys

Really glad this turned out so positive
I will try to spice it up a little. I still think it is lacking something. You will be able to hear it in the TA Psyunite Mix ...
oh, and Mr. Cola, I will do a 320 version soon if you remind me later

Hey Cybernetica,

Maybe I am in a good mood today but most of the tracks I reviewed today are very much worth the compliments. Yours is no exception. I like the intro of the track but when the bass kicks in it because very smooth and sexy. That basscarpet underneath the track is kick ass mate and so is the beat. Great choice of the drum sounds.

Furthemore nice choice of sounds, it is trippy as hell and even though I am a melody man and more into melodic trance, I totally dig the different sounds and elements you use. Atmosphere has been used superbly with the dreamy pad you use in this track.

Cheers for sharing!

nice breaks and solid vibe from this track... liking the bassline much and its nice to hear some breaks/w psy elements... I was hoping for a more upfront melodic progression, but this arrangement keeps the flow fairly chill in nature...

keep it up.

hello.... looking forward to this... starts ambient

-little breakbeats, tiny synths kewl.
-beats are on... they are a hair fast.... very cool... they start to have a little more flow
ambient gate pads and hipass synths sound kewl also with that panny synth

5:10 is a cool transition with the gate pads... very dreamy...

this one has good low end... and a driving bassline

that was really cool.

as always

thanks for reviewing "trans neptunian...blah blah blah"
