Cheers for the advice and the pm emc^2.
I have to admit, I do think that the Ti is a better option, just can't be arsed to save up the extra pennies to be able to afford one. Will let you know about the desktop one you mentioned.
Cheers mate.

for the 1600 Euro a new TI costs, you might get on ebay:
- a used Virus B (approx 600 Euro)
- a used JP8000 (approx 600 Euro)
- a used Nord Rack 1 or Nord Rack 2 (300 - 400 Euro approx)
The new features of the TI are still buggy (VSTi support)
Or if you really like a Virus with VSTi support:
Powercore Card + Virus Powercore Plugin (900 Euro new, used 600 Euro).

That is a great tip, I got a Virus Indigo, Waldorf Q, Waldorf XTk and a Waldorf Pulse for less than a Virus Ti Kb. The sound sound engine in all the viruses are virtually the same.

I sold my Virus C to get the TI and only had to spend an extra few hundred US dollars, and I think it was well worth it even though I don't use the VST yet. Using it in the same way as I did my Virus C(analog outs + MIDI) I think the extra money was worth it just for the new HW features. It is nice to have independent effects on every part, rather than having to share them globally like the Virus C. Also, I like how the multi patches contain 16 patches rather than sharing the individual patches between multi programs.
If you really want the VST support you may want to see how the upcoming OS works out for people who have issues with it. I had problems with the VST in the earlier OSes and never bothered with it since I don't get much time to produce and don't want to deal with it. I will use it once I hear other's problems go away.
