My friend did some research online for a good place for white water rafting. The place she found charges $125/day of rafting, and the raft holds seven. So in a way the actual rafting isn't too expensive. But the place is somewhere out in Ottawa. So if you add up the other expensives (i.e. transportation, food, and accomdation) it's going to be a bit pricy. But I guess it's worth the excitement...haha.... |
The above picture was taken on the Ottawa River, and Wilderness Tours is the biggest operator. Our group rate was about $150 a day (2days, 2 nights) and it included meals and the camping site. You can buy DVDs of your different runs too for about $45 bucks, which was very affordable, since we split the cost between 6 people, and I burned copies for everyone. It's an excellent place to start, if you've never been.
