the point of this post is that sum ppl might genuinly be affended by the lyrics of this song, like i have heard some ppl talk
about it -

I am agree with the lyrics.

hmm well you may think there is nothing offensive, but I can empathize for those who do. saying

i think is ignorant

peronally I don't agree witht the lyrics, but that is not saying that I am offended by them. It makes God out to be a king, who doesnt care, and that lies to people. ehh I would say whatever its just music, right? but I am also religous, so I can see where any offence could come from

is that there is nothing offensive about the lyrics. At least to me. When i first heard them i thought Marco V was takin a stab at God.. (or at least his own idea of what he thinks God is all about) but hey, maybe he just liked the sound of the sample cause it does sound cool.

Well put yourself in the feet of one who has a strong beleif in God.
It does look as if MV is takin a stab at God with those lyrics. It looks as if he's making God out to sound like a powermand king on a throne (as someone said above) as opposed to a loving creator. So i think if you put yourself in their feet you can see how someone *might* be offended. That's not to say his lyrics had any deep meainging to them. He might've just put them in their cause the sample (and the chick's voice) sounds cool.

Yeah but even so he has as much right to voice his opinions about god as anybody else. Otherwise you might as well stop all religious teachings, in case people of other religions disagree and get offended.
