Is reason 3 worth buying, and is it good for use on a laptop, when your moving around. Because i dont want to buy loads of synthesizers, etc, and have to carry them around.

Yes. Reason 3 is worthy of buying.

Maelstrom and Subtractor are the most fun synths to play around with. I consistently re-wire subtractor synths (and combinator patches with subtractors in them!) to my host VST like Nuendo.

Definately worth the buy. It has value as your primary sequencer, and long term value as a Rewire-Slave.

It's worth the dough.
