Jordy van Kouwen - Initiated by the odd sounding beats and synths coming from a simple clock radio, Jordy created a huge personal interest in electronic music during the early nineties. Every weekend the most fascinating tunes, with the additional radio noise and interference , were broadcasted via illegal underground stations. This all started at a relative young age and growing up in a creative and liberal family, the love for this new sound was stimulated.

Although the creativity took a turn to the visual side (design), Jordy still experimented with the creation of music in his teen years. First it started with the legendary MOD music composition (back in the days with a simple 4-track sample pattern). This turned out to be a good learning experience. Not only did Jordy discover that music creation was best left to others, it also created knowledge for the basics of electronic dance music. The simple logic of this style made perfect mixing the next step in creating an own sound.

Jordy is one of the few talented deejays who refused playing at clubs and just focused his creativity on doing dedicated mixes in his free time, Full Moon Session & Klubkix mix series. This was supported by friends in the local Midtown Records store and the work was well known in the underground scene. The Full Moon Session series was created to host a more progressive club sound, instead of the more popular uplifting trance published in the Klubkix series.

10 years later he is the owner of two succesful companies in graphic and video design, but still finds time to do some audio work in his studio.

*AfterhoursDJs.org will exclusively host part 22 of the Full Moon Session.

Anders L - Anders Lygren was born in Bergen (Norway) in late August 1987. His love for EDM began with commercial dance music, and artists like G&M Project, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, etc. The more Anders fell in love with electronic sounds, the more he began to like deeper music. His heroes now are people like James Holden, Nathan Fake, Dominik Eulberg, and many more with their particular sound.

Watching videos of big parties such as Sensation, Dance Valley, & Innercity, inspired him to become a DJ. At the age of 16, Anders finally got his hands on a pair of Pioneer CDJ 100s and a Vestax Mixer. With help from his friend Terje Bakke he practiced his mixing skills every day. He began to send out his sets to people he had contact with for feedback. He then used the feedback to fine tune his sound.

Anders fell more and more in love with music, and wanted to get more involved with the music scene. So naturally, Anders decided to start producing his own music and create his own sounds. It was then he got his hands on the beloved Fruity Loops sequencer. Once again he had his good mate Terje to help him along the way.

Month after month he tried to create music until one day he finally made something people liked. After co-producing with Olof Dohnhammar on the track they started sending it out to labels. "Anders L & Olof Dohnhammar - Der Krank Popcorn" got signed to the Swedish record Label Raucocue Recordings (http://www.raucocue.com) and will be digitally released in the late summer of 2006.

Currently Anders and Terje Bakke are producing together under the guise Zap The Monkies. Zap The Monkies made their first track "Fetthode," and it got great response from DJs like Kosmas Epsilon, Marcus Schössow, Olof Dohnhammar, etc.

Zap The Monkies is signed to O Recordings (http://www.orecordings.com) with their track "Don't Eat Gul Schnee." This track can be bought in the Spring/Summer of 2006.
