Question Working on a cruise ship

I am graduating next year and then for a year Id like to work on a cruise ship for a year to get some money for college. (full sail in flordia for film) does anyone know anyone who has worked on one? and could u tell me about the working conditons. I found bunch of junk on google but it all just seems to be trying to sell it to me. Wanted to hear from some real people.

Well I don't know how the cruises around there but if they're anything like here you'd be scrubbing toilets and cleaning up people's vomits from the aisles...

I have absolutely no idea but I would assume it is plenty of hard work.

Have you contacted any of the cruise companies you think may be offering these jobs?
See with them what they have to offer from a salary point of view and what kind of tasks you could do.

But on the plus side like josh said you'd get to visit the cities where the cruise stopped and all in all I'm sure it would be an unforgetable experience ( which could go both ways ... good or bad lol )

Good luck. Go and explore my son

One of my friend works on the cruise ship that cover most of the scandinavia and other parts of europe. What he told me about his work was that its pretty tiring. On the plus side as expected you get to meet a lot of people (all sort of), the tips are really amazzzing, food, medicine and other amenities are awesome. Besides this you get to see a lot of new places.

Just that if you don't have sea/travel sickness this job might interest you...

all the best
