Review: David Gilmore @ Massey Hall April 10th
In a nutshell... Incredible concert... my life is now complete
The night started off at 8:00 pm sharp... no opening act... David Gilmore walked on stage with his band and laid right into "On an Island"
Completely blew me away... Being only 3 rows back I might as well been strumming the guitar for him I was that close... the first half of the set was the new album "On an Island" then after a short intermission they continued with miscilaneous Pink Floyd and David Gilmore solo stuff...
Highlights of the evening include: Dave's Solo rendition of "Shine on you crazy Diamond", High hopes, Comfortably Numb, and catching a broken guitar pick in the teeth.
