hey,

commenting as I listen...

Strings are a nice introduction.
Again, the drums seem very dry at the beginning, you might consider getting better samples.
0.40 nice mellow start, great use of the orchestral elements, really digging the overall feeling... the hats stand out too much.
The crash sound is cheap, get a better sample.
1:50 ... with another synth this gets kinda chaotic. Give the synthlines more space to breathe
Again, as the mix gets fuller, your kick is getting hardly audible. Try to really isolate it from the midrange synths, frequency-wise.
I am not really liking the second half of the track as much as the first one, things seem too random there, and the beautiful harmonies of the first half are gone.

You see, there is always space for improvements... hope I could help you Keep it up!

Hey...

I like especially the beginning of the track, the arpeggio is very nice. It creates a calm and beautiful atmosphere to the track. The kick is too quiet as Cybernetica said... The beat could be better overall, now it has a distinctive amateur sound, I think because of the samples which you have used... Generally I like all of the synth sounds which you have used, nice ambient-type sounds. Overall good effort but there are things to improve, ( like always )!!

Cheers, Lakeus

yea, those percussion samples are all FL studio samples been trying to find some good samples, but i seem to only find loops.. anyways.. yea i gotta work on the kick... understand i made this from about 1 am to 5 am this morning, so i couldnt really turn up the sound too much so that makes it a bit tough on the kick part.. ill fix that when i get home. thanks for the comments!

better soundwise then your previous track for sure.

overall I think your cymbals(hi-hats,open, rides etc) are to high. Kick is to weak, and the high hi-hats makes it even more so.

but the feeling of the track is good. as said, arp in beginning is a good mood setter, but the break down is to abrupt. try smoothen it up with a longer wooshing fx that overflows into the break.

I actually like the clap..which I usually dont.

you definatly have some good melodies in this track, but perhaps there are just to much going on in the second part of the track.

cant put my finger on it,but something needs to go or be more in the background.

at the end , i bring in another arp which is kinda a beepy type sound, and then i bring back in the arp from the beginning kinda as a close out.... should i fade those back in more into the background?

and no one has mentioned the piano part at the end, does that sound alright as a close out?

arp is nice as stated. kick is too weak. the track lacks drive. think you need to look at what your trying to create.

percs as mentioned not too good. do a search in the production studio section for perc samples. might find some there.

if you used the sounds you have much better the track would become more alive.

keep it up!
