sound factory (is it still open?) is gets a big meh from me. The space was better back in the days of Twilo.
I'd stick with Roxy, Avalon, Crobar, Pacha, Spirit and the other main afterhours (as long as they don't get raided by the police again like just the other weekend!). If you want a more mainstream club hit up webster hall, it has 4 levels and plays trance/techno on one floor, hip hop/rnb on another, latin on a different one and rock on the 4th.
I'll be back home in NYC over easter weekend so I wouldn't mind meeting up with you for a night out if wanted in manhattan. shoot me a pm sometime if you decide to go.

*nusty does not wear sunglasses at night, they make it hard to see and you could trip
