[REVIEW] What steak do YOU like!? Porter tore the roof off!
What steak do I like? PORTER FUCKING HOUSE is what I like! Steve Porter is unbelieveable!
I got to party it up with a fellow TA...Junior Chavez. He's a fuckin class act. Me and my friends began the night with Junior in downtown LA at a gig he was spinning at. Definately was not the greatest venue but we went for him and the staff pretty much blew balls. Junior didn't start spinning until over an hour past his scheduled slot and to start things off while they were setting up the equipment, they dropped the turntables from 4 feet up! The problems were unreal that they were having trying to get Junior started. By the time Junior got to spinning, we were out the door after only 3 tracks because we had to book it over to King King.
Justin Gourley did an awesome job of opening up, his set was bangin AND he's a very cool dude. I got warmed up to his set by throwing back two adios muthafuckas. I even bought one for Clovis to celebrate and some stupid bullshit happened so him and Bas couldn't get in.  I wish they would've called me when they couldn't get in, I would've gotten them in within 5 minutes!
On to Porter's set...un fucking believeable! Such good music from an awesome DJ. Every track he dropped was a head banger and the place was bumpin! My friends, Junior and me just couldn't stop dancing. Steve Porter is in my top 5 current DJ's, every set I've heard him spin in the last 6 months has been epic and tonight just put it over the top..props to that man!
I just got home and I'm still drunk but what a goddam fun night! Thanks to Junior Chavez for being awesome and hangin out!
