Hi everyone,

For melodic trance addicts, a new track is now available from DarkAlbedo.
It's called "Angel words" and it's full of arpegs, moving pads, heavy kick and deep bassline, with a long melodic line...

Interesting start.
The bassline reminded me of something...A-ha..or the Neverending Story..hehe..now evenmore as the plucky synth entered..

The hi-hat is to high IMO. Clap is good. at 1.37 the clap and hi-hat definatly seem to high in volume.

You got really good ambient sounds going on. Overall pads, synths, bass works well, but the hi-hat is starting to bug me. I now understand why people said my snare was disturbing

The opera lyrical seemed oddly out of place..it feels very cheesy.
its not badly done, but doesnt fit the song...IMO,but its called Angel Words so maybe Im wrong.

Like the melodies ALOT..

Magical intro arps, I like the beggining. The piano has a lot of atmosphere, sounds great.
Very good mixing, except the snare that's too loud. The melodies are beautiful and work quite well together.
Your lead is excellent (voice or synth...or both?), but again I find it too loud compared to the rest.
Very good original ideas, keep it up

Angelic names seem to have a strong place in trance nowadays.

The melody is good... the etheral balance is very fitting.

The clap I thought was well mixed. It's different. It's washy, but it's a tad too loud like other's have already stated.

THe bassline is lacking definition and punch about now. I'm not sure if it's just these headphones I'm wearing, because these headphones were designed for bass monitoring.

Opera acapella has too much mechanical vibrato. It's alto in-between male and female, which I'm not too fond of. It should be higher on the musical scale, more dynamic, and less of a forced vibtrato.

Again, the melodies have done themselves well. The kick and bass elements don't seem to be as prominent in this mix.

To tell you the truth. ELements of this remind me of video game soundtrack... not any particular one. Consider that a compliment.

Mixing just needs a few tweaks, opera-ish idea needs to be revamped, otherwise this is a good one.

the hat is flat and needs some work.
clap is weak too.
plucked arp is great as everyone says. fantastic.
nice leads.
I like the bass. It's creamy and touching.
I think the percs are the weakest part.
very pretty.
nice work.

Commenting as i listen to this one:

* Intro is top notch Pro stuff. Nice pads, I like plucked guitar sounding synth you have there. Very nice.

* Kick comes in a bit too shallow. I was expecting a more pounding kick to accompany the intro nicely. Track is falling apart a little when the hi-hats come in. Clap-Snare that you have is a little loud.

* Some nice synths used here in the build-up, nice arpeggios you got going.

* Not a big fan of the female operatic vocal as it sounds a bit too computer generated (not that you can help that, unless you get charlotte church in your room - that would be a bonus )

* Melodies are nice, notes fit the chords well.

To be honest the track in general is pretty good actually, but it wasnt what i was expecting after the intro. The intro builds it really well for a stomping melodic trancer but it fails to deliver for me. You definetly have the talent though, i can see that a mile off. It'll come with practice though

Good work m8

Hi!

This track makes me happy (and its really get stuck!)! I think the vocal is funny but if that not your intention you can take it off - the melody is strong enough. But I like it!

Cheers guys!

@Akia: no, that was not my intention, but you're also the only one to find the vocal funny (A LOT of people actually listened to this track), so I don't think I'll take this one into account, no offense though

Thanks anyway!
The more feedback I get, the better it is for my next tracks

Ok, recent news about this tune... it's been removed from the server so you'll get an error if you try to download it.
Good reason for that: it's gonna be released very soon on belgian label 4-Strokes Produktune, including my other tracks (previously posted on tranceaddict) Endorphin and Trancemitter...
Of course, all these released tracks have been improved compared to the ones presented here.

Thanks!
