Marco V style track by Nem 320bps

Hey guys,

Just thought I would give you a sneek preview of my latest track. I wrote it on a Sunday Morning hence the name... Just Another Sunday.

Just Another Sunday 320bps

Please give it a listen.

Just so you know there are still some jobs to do like rolls and a few elements to be added but appart from that you get the basic idea.

Cheers
Nem

Review

Intro -
luvely percussion, kick seems powerful and the scond wave of perc kicks in, liking this.

Breakdown - kicks in quite badly imo, the pads are cool, but there was a slight lack of effects there. I like the kick in and synth, brill work there mind. it needs more elements imo, something to variate the tune.

Outro/Other - the synth could filer down rather than fade out via volume, thatz a bad mistake here but the idea is there to reintroduce the pads and have an end to remember. Again synth kicks in great and away it goes!

Conclusion/Other - nice mastering and ideas jus need more elements and a slight restructure here n there, classic stuff, keep it up!

Thanks for checking it out Terry.

With you on your comments. As you can obviously tell, I haven't put any effects in there at the moment and the way the breakdown kicks in is still unwritten. Writers block if you will.

With you on all your points and it is stuff that is getting my attention at the moment.

There is more to come, mostly I just wanted so feedback to see if people were hearing the same gaps as myself and it would appear so.

Thanks again
Nem

really sorry but kick is way to dry .......and the gaps don't really work
makes the transitions to raw.... when it kicks in after the break u lose some of the kick behind the bassline.....gonne have to play with an eq+compressor to fix that up.
i think some filtering and what not with some fx and pads would help a lot with your transitions kuz it seems to clean cut.....stuffs either on or off.
the entire mix sounds a tad dry, maybe add some reverb on the master.
and not enough to catch the listener in "my opinoin", stills needs a catchy hook and i don't think its in this track so far sorry.
Talent is definetly there, i just think u have to put more time and focus into ur track.

wow wicked track mate,

starts of nice with the filtered percussions, bassdrum is good.

pad at 1.20 sounds pretty good already, anyway i would add a low freq pad to it, will increase the overall atmosphere of the break.

basssound at 2.10 is my absolut favourit of your track, awesome sound and wickid drive after the breakdown.

i would freque out when hearing that in a club.

second breakdown is a bit useless imo, i would rather use just one breakdown and make the whole breakdown at about 3.00.

altogether you're track sounds pretty awesome, bassline is very catchy but i would change something about your buildup, would make the song even more interessting during the whole track length.

anyway, great work.

keep it up, nik.

On the whole this track is really good. I have to agree with a lot of what has already been said, not only the breakdown, but the whole track is empty. I reckon it would work a lot better as a breaks track personally, reminds me of old skool Prodigy, but wihtout the manic beats.

Coolio.
Thanks for listening guys.
The main thing I was after was to see if peole picked up on technical points and learn from that. Musically I agree and as I stated originally it is empty as it's not finished but I will remedy that and return... mu ha ha ha...

Thanks again
Nem
