i disagree. both women and men can be high maintenance. i have some female friends who get all overworked if i don't call for a week and some males friends that i talk to like twice a year and we're still cool.

I think it all depends on the relationship you establish with your friends. If your friends become accustomed to having a certain type of friendship and that changes, than that person - whether guy or girl - will always react to the situation.

Eric, youre probably very passive with your female friends - and you probably have a bunch, so its impossible to have time for all of them, so you do it whenever you stumble on their number in your phone book. But youre boys you probably chilled with night in and night out, you probably got drunk and crunk with them all the time and they became used to that - and now that you have a girl in your life, you dont have as much time for them... and being a guy they will always have the "bro's before hoe's" mentality... so although they give you shit about it, its not a big deal. The thing is, you have to be able to juggle a g/f and your guy friends - and its not easy if your girl is the type that likes attention.

I disagree.

Most friends of mine, regardless of gender, are quite understanding about our tight schedule. Hardly ever there was an exception: there was this girl who would complain every time I saw/called her (which eventually made me avoid her), but she's the only person I can think of.

i wish i could talk from experience from girls, but I've never met any that don't want to ask me where the bathroom in my store is. I haven't talked to my friends in two months, but when i call them, they seem to talk more about their cars than catching up
